Back of Water Feature Design
Often overlooked, the design of the back of your waterfall matters too. Aquatic Artists generally addresses this area in two ways: with a beautifully planted slope — the most cost-effective option — or by building a boulder wall to retain the backside, typically required when space is constrained or when pool equipment needs to be concealed.
Because the front of your water feature gets the most attention, we generally recommend putting your design focus and budget there, then finishing the back with a clean, natural-looking planted slope.
