Aquatic Artists designed and built this amazing multiple pond and waterfall project with many unique waterfalls in Manalapan, NJ. The project had two separate ponds that combined the natural beauty of a pond and enhanced it with a more formal representation. Water flowing down multiple levels added the ultimate tranquility to this backyard oasis.
Aquatic Artists was hired to complete a Pond renovation at this home on the Mullica River in Hammonton, NJ. Twenty-five years ago, Aquatic Artists built the original koi pond and the customer wanted to refresh the pond and the space around it. Our craftsmen removed the old pond and filtration system and replaced it with a new koi pond that is fifty percent bigger and has a commercial filtration system. Also, the new pond we crafted is deeper, has multiple waterfalls that flow into it, and per the customer request has a grotto built for the Blessed Mother.
In addition, we incorporated IPE Brazilian Hardwood decking surrounding the pond and a portion of the pool. We also installed a bridge that goes over a portion of the pond and cantilevers out over the bulkhead with stainless steel railings. Lastly, we installed railroad ties on the back of the water feature, and we redid the coping and tile on the pool.

The first water feature is a three-tiered 6 feet high natural stone waterfall that cascades into this gunite pool. The second water feature is a two-tiered 4 feet high natural stone waterfall that wraps around the pool spa and streams into the pool. We also built stone steps with a bridge to cross over the second waterfall to access the spa. In addition, the third water feature we crafted on the side is a three-tiered 5 feet high natural stone pondless waterfall. Also, we built boulder walls on the back of this entire water feature, and we placed planting beds throughout these water features to enhance the natural look.
