On the right side of the water feature, we created a large 4 feet high waterfall that splits into two main streams, which cascade into the pool. On the left side of the large waterfall, we created a side stream that meanders around the spa and then cascades into the pool. To tie in the natural look of this water feature, we installed a sitting rock and we placed planting beds.

We also built a side entrance to this grotto cave that has a waterfall cascading over it. We designed the inside of the cave to have a portion wet near the front opening and dry towards the rear. Also, we installed cedar wood logs into the ceiling inside the cave to enhance its natural look.
