Aquatic Artists was hired to complete a waterfall renovation on this gunite pool in Medford, NJ. We removed an existing water feature and then designed and crafted this Ultimate natural stone grotto combined with an Ultimate pool slide. The grotto we built is 7 feet high and it is two-tiered with a side entrance. In the center next to the grotto, we crafted a three-tiered 7 feet high waterfall. Next, we installed an ultimate slide manufactured by Paradise Slides, and we built custom stone steps leading up to the slide with rock railings. Lastly, we built boulder walls on the back of the water feature, and we placed planting beds throughout to enhance the natural look.

Aquatic Artists designed and built two natural stone water features at this home in Maple Shade, NJ. First, we crafted a 7 feet high waterfall cascading over a grotto that flows into this gunite pool. The second water feature we crafted is a two-tier waterfall located next to the steps and has a stream that flows to the right of the grotto into the pool. In addition, we installed an ultimate custom pool slide manufactured by Dolphin. Leading to the pool slide, we built natural stone steps with cedar posts and rope railings. Lastly, we placed planting beds throughout this water feature to enhance the natural look.

First, we crafted a large multi-tier pool grotto that is 6 feet high and cascades into this gunite pool. Also, we installed an ultimate custom pool slide manufactured by Dolphin into this water feature and built natural stone steps that lead up to the slide. In addition, we built rock walls around the water feature and the upper patio. Lastly, we placed planting beds throughout this water feature to tie the natural look all together.
Aquatopia B - Williamstown, NJ - A swimming pool with a waterfall surrounded by lush greenery and colorful flowers
Aquatic Artists designed and built the ultimate backyard oasis with multiple water features that flow into this custom gunite pool in Williamstown, NJ. First, we crafted a custom waterfall grotto cave that is 8 feet wide and 16 feet deep and is made of all natural stone. The grotto cave is half wet and half dry. The dry portion of the grotto cave has a separate side entrance and sitting area inside with a natural rock floor. This is a great feature if you want to access the grotto and do not want to get wet. Also to enhance the rustic look of the cave, we incorporated three authentic red cedar logs inside the ceiling of the cave.
To the left of the grotto, we crafted a two-tiered 6 foot high waterfall that cascades into the pool and we installed a 40 foot custom pool slide manufactured by Dolphin Water Slides. Leading to the pool slide and the top of the grotto cave, we built natural stone steps that wrap around a 10 foot tall pillar rock that weighs five tons. The steps also have cedar posts and rope railings.
In addition, we created a spa waterfall that cascades into the pool. The spa has 3 large natural accent rocks that we notched around the gunite shell to integrate into the spa. Also, we installed a matching stone veneer on the face of the spa and bullnose travertine coping around the top of the spa. Lastly, we placed planting beds throughout these water features to naturalize the rock.

Aquatic Artists crafted two natural stone water features on this gunite pool in Moorestown, NJ. When the pool was first constructed, we created a large 5 feet high natural stone waterfall that cascades into the spa. A few years later, the owner hired us to create a second water feature. For the second water feature, we crafted a large waterfall on the left that splits into two streams and cascades into the pool. In the center of the water feature, we built a natural stone patio and, on the right side, we built a pondless waterfall. We also placed planting beds and accent rocks throughout the water feature and installed a natural stone bench to enhance the natural look.
In 2018, Aquatic Artists was hired once again to add an additional enhancement to the water features on this pool. The enhancement we added is a classic pool slide manufactured by SR Smith. Also during this phase, we placed additional accents rocks and included planting beds around the slide to complete the natural look of the entire project.

We were brought into a project that was not complete because the homeowner was not satisfied with current water feature that was being built. We removed what had been built and then crafted a large 5 feet high natural stone waterfall that cascades over the large pool grotto. Also, we combined this water feature with an ultimate custom pool slide made by Dolphin. Lastly, we placed planting beds and accent rocks around the pool to tie in the natural look of this water feature.

Aquatic Artists completed a renovation on this gunite pool in Voorhees, NJ. We were brought in to this partially completed project by the homeowner who was dissatisfied with the prior builder’s craftsmanship. We removed the existing water feature to give the customer a more natural look and to hide the block retaining walls on the property. We then crafted multiple natural stone waterfalls and combined them with an ultimate custom pool slide manufactured by Dolphin and a pool grotto that cascades into the pool. We also created a pondless waterfall on an upper deck in front of the portable spa. Lastly, we built multiple sets of natural stone steps and placed planting beds throughout this water feature to enhance the overall natural look.
Fountain B - Churchville, MD - A large backyard with a waterfall and a slide.
Aquatic Artists designed and built this award-winning natural water feature into a hill in Churchville, MD. We crafted a large pool grotto that is 7 feet high with multiple natural stone waterfalls that cascade into this gunite pool. One of the waterfalls splits into two streams and one of the streams cascades over the pool grotto. We built the other stream of this waterfall to cascade into the spa and designed it so the spa is a waterfall that cascades into the pool. We also installed an ultimate custom pool slide manufactured by Dolphin into this water feature and built natural stone steps that lead up to the slide. In addition, another waterfall on the other side of the pool slide has a stream that also cascades into the pool. Lastly, we placed veneer stone around the face of the spa and installed planting beds throughout this water feature to tie the natural look all together.

To enhance the ambience at night, we installed lighting throughout the water feature.

In Thornton, PA, Aquatic Artists designed and built this natural stone waterfall cascading over a grotto overtop a 2-person love seat on this gunite pool. The natural stone waterfall we crafted is 4 feet high. Also, we installed a set of stone steps leading to a semi-custom deluxe Dolphin pool slide that was tied into the entire water feature.
